Chris LaForest if the Director of Bruce County Planning and Development Department. Chris’s team handles land use planning, economic development, tourism marketing and promotion, as well as forestry and trails in the County.

Kirsten has happened into the Trails Community in 2001 when she started working for a community based trail group in Parry Sound, ON. She is currently the Regional Trail Committee Coordinator for Trans Canada Trail.

Carol is a senior policy advisor with the Ministry of Health Promotion which is the lead ministry for trails coordination and planning for the Government of Ontario.

Damian Bradley, owner of Decarto Consulting Ltd has recently joined Lees and Associates, a landscape architecture firm specializing in parks, trails and open space design, planning and management.

I have always live in the country and have been blessed with riding my horse every where . As the population grew and took over the areas in which I rode I became more interested in developing trails. Eight years ago I joined the Ontario Trail Riders Association as they are an organization that develops and preserves equestrian trails through out the province.

Chris is the Tourism Manager for the County of Bruce. Chris has a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and has been marketing Bruce County as ‘Ontario’s Natural Retreat’ since 2000.

Don Ross comes from Canada’s southernmost town, Leamington. He was Chief Park Naturalist from 1973 to 1976 at Point Pelee National Park; and from 1976 to 1983 at St. Lawrence Islands National Park in the Thousand Islands.

Mike is the Manager, Conservation Lands at Toronto and Region Conservation (TRCA). Formed in the aftermath of Hurricane Hazel, TRCA has a strong history in watershed management and leadership in applying sustainability practices.
