Kara Van Myall is a Registered Professional Planner and Landscape Architect and has been working in the Planning and Economic Development Department for the County of Bruce since 2006. One of Kara’s current projects is working on a new initiative within the Department bringing together the planning, economic development and tourism roles that the Department encompasses to meet the objective of creating, healthy, successful, rural communities.
Kara has 8 years previous experience with the City of Waterloo working as a Landscape Architect and Urban Planner which brought her into contact with a number of community revitalization and improvement initiatives that included projects like the redevelopment of Uptown Waterloo, the redesign of streets to incorporate active transportation and various park and trail development projects. She has a Bachelor of Science (Environmental) and a Masters of Landscape Architecture (M.L.A.) from the University of Guelph.
